福井・若狭湾の津波調査開始 原発立地の3事業者 via 47 News

日本原子力発電など福井県に原発14基を抱える電力3事業者は24日、若狭湾沿岸で過去に発生した津波の痕跡を調べるため、同県若狭町の中山湿地で堆積物を採取するボーリング調査を始めた。結果次第では、沿岸にある原発の津波対策の見直しを迫られそうだ。 調査は日本原電のほか関西電力、日本原子力研究開発機構が共同で同県美浜、若狭両町にまたがる三方五湖など9カ所で実施。約1万年前の湖底や陸地の地層から採取した土などの堆積物を約1年かけて分析し、過去の津波の有無などを調べる。 3事業者は福島第1原発事故を受け、調査の必要があると判断、合同での調査を決めた。 福井・若狭湾の津波調査開始 原発立地の3事業者

福島全原発廃炉 危険性は全国民の問題だ via 琉球新報

 福島県議会が福島第1、第2原発の全原子炉10基の廃炉を求める請願を退席者5人を除く全出席者の賛成によって採択した。  東京電力が廃炉を明らかにしているのは第1原発の1~4号機だけで、第1の5、6号機、第2原発の1~4号機については明確な方針を示していない。政府と東電は県議会の意向を尊重し、直ちに廃炉を決定すべきだ。  残念なのは、両原発を抱える双葉郡選出議員を含む5人が採決の前に退席した点だ。「雇用問題に先が見えない中、今すぐ『廃炉』と言うと、避難住民が帰還する機会を奪ってしまうことになると考えた」とそのうちの1人は説明している。  懸念は分からなくもないが、福島県民は原発の脅威を嫌というほど思い知らされた。事ここに至って、おびただしい量の放射性物質をまき散らす恐れのある施設の存続は論外だろう。 続きは 福島全原発廃炉 危険性は全国民の問題だ
