Denmark to help Vietnam develop green energy via Asian Power

Up to 60 percent of a grant from Denmark will be used in Vietnam for effective use of water resources, clean water supply for the poor, wind energy and activities to cope with climate change.

According to John Nielsen, Danish Ambassador to Vietnam, Denmark has many advantages in using energy effectively, particularly recycled and clean energies like solar energy, energy produced from rubbish and biogas.

“Wind power projects require huge investments because this is modern technology. To solve this challenge, a Danish delegation will visit Vietnam. We will try to set up cooperation agreements between the two governments and businesses to implement wind power projects,” he said.
