政府が関電の大飯廃炉方針に「便乗」、原発新増設へシフト via ダイアモンド・オンライン
衆議院総選挙真っ最中の10月17日、関西電力が大飯原子力発電所1、2号機(福井県)の廃炉方針を固めたことが明らかになった。公式には、「そのような事実はない」とする関電だが、電力業界関係者の間では、廃炉は既定路線だった。 大飯原発1、2号機は共に、2019年に運転開始から40年を迎える老朽原発である。現行ルールでは、原発の運転期間は原則40年で、1回に限り最長20年の延長が認められる。それでも関電が廃炉しようとするのは、仮に延長したとしても耐震性など安全対策の追加コストがかさみ、採算が合わないからだ。 (略) 政府の考え方の根拠になっているのは、14年4月に策定されたエネルギー基本計画だ。政権を奪還した与党自民党は、この計画で旧民主党政権が掲げた「原発ゼロ」方針を撤回。原発を重要なベースロード電源と位置付け、一定の基準を満たした原発については再稼働させる考えを示した。 これを受けた長期エネルギー需給見通しでも、30年度の電源構成(総発電電力量に占める各電源の内訳)で原発を20~22%と定めた。 全文は政府が関電の大飯廃炉方針に「便乗」、原発新増設へシフト
2021年からの「燃料デブリ」取り出し 事実上の断念 via テレ朝News
