原発事故の指定廃棄物 最終処分場へ搬入始まる 福島 富岡町 via NHK News Web

東京電力福島第一原発事故により出た放射性物質を含む指定廃棄物などの最終処分場が、全国で唯一設けられている福島県富岡町で、１７日、指定廃棄物を埋め立てるための搬入作業が始まりました。 搬入作業は１７日朝から始まり、原発周辺で出たがれきなどを燃やした焼却灰を積んだトラックが富岡町の処分場へ入りました。 ここで最終処分されるのは、放射性物質の濃度が１キロ当たり８０００ベクレルより高く１０万ベクレル以下の廃棄物で、１７日は廃棄物の入った容器がクレーンで埋め立て地に置かれていきました。 環境省は、放射性物質の流出を防ぐため専用の容器に入れたりセメントで固めたりして埋め立てる計画で、その後も地下水や周辺の河川などの調査を続けることにしています。 (略） また、福島県内でも根強い反対があり、処分場への搬入路がある楢葉町の２つの行政区のうち１つでは国と地元の安全協定が結べていません。 環境省福島環境再生本部の小沢晴司本部長は「福島の復興再生のために地元自治体や県に事業を受け入れてもらい、搬入を始めることができた。引き続き地元の住民にしっかり向き合い、説明をしたい」と話しています。 全文は原発事故の指定廃棄物 最終処分場へ搬入始まる 福島 富岡町
