研究者:トリュフは放射線耐性を持つ via Sputnik

福島第一原発 大半の場所で防護服なしで作業へ via NHK News Web

福島第一原子力発電所の事故からまもなく5年になるなか、東京電力は、来月から大半の場所で防護服も手 袋も着けずに作業できるよう段階的に運用を見直す方針を固めたことが分かりました。これまでの対策で、敷地内の放射線量が大幅に下がったためで、廃炉現場 で働く作業員の負担軽減を図りたい考えです。 福島第一原発は、敷地全体が汚染されたため、作業員は、防護服や二重のゴム手袋を着けなければならず、動きにくいうえに細かい作業に支障が出るなど課題となっていました。 これに対して汚染された土を剥ぎ取ったり、地面を舗装するなどの対策が進められた結果、地表付近の放射線量が、目標としていた毎時5マイクロシーベルト以下に下がったエリアは、去年12月現在で全体のおよそ90%に上るということです。 このため東京電力は、来月上旬から対策が済んだエリアについては、防護服も手袋も着けずに一般的な作業服だけで作業ができるように運用を見直す方針を固めました。 続きは福島第一原発 大半の場所で防護服なしで作業へ

MOX燃料の価格、ウランの9倍 高浜原発で1本9億円 via 朝日新聞

使用済み核燃料を再処理して作るウラン・プルトニウム混合酸化物(MOX)燃料は、通常のウラン燃料より数倍高価なことが、財務省の貿易統計などから分かった。再稼働した関西電力高浜原発3、4号機(福井県)などプルサーマル発電を行う原発で使われるが値上がり傾向がうかがえ、高浜で使うMOX燃料は1本約9億円となっている。 プルサーマル発電は使用済み核燃料から取り出したプルトニウムを再利用する国の核燃料サイクル政策の柱とされる。核兵器に転用できるプルトニウムの日本保有量(47・8トン)を増やさない狙いもあるが、国内の再処理施設は未完成なうえ、コスト面でも利点が乏しいことが浮き彫りになった。 電力各社は使用済み核燃料の再処理をフランスなどに委託。MOX燃料は1999年以降、東京電力福島第一、柏崎刈羽、中部電力浜岡、関西電力高浜、四国電力伊方、九州電力玄海の各原発に搬入された。27日に核分裂反応が継続する「臨界」に達した高浜4号機は、核燃料計157本のうちMOX燃料(燃料集合体)が4本、3号機は同じく24本入っている。燃料集合体は燃料棒を束ねたもので、長さ約4メートル、重さ約700キロある。 (略) MOX燃料は当初高速増殖炉で使うはずだったが、原型炉もんじゅ(福井県)は実現の見通しが立っておらず、プルサーマルが核燃料サイクル政策の軸とされる。電力各社は、16~18基の原発でプルサーマル発電をすれば年間6トン前後のプルトニウムを利用できると想定している。 しかし、青森県六ケ所村の使用済み核燃料の再処理工場とMOX燃料加工工場は、稼働が大幅に遅れている。加えて、使用済みMOX燃料は建設中の加工工場で処理できず、その処分方法も決まっていない。 全文はMOX燃料の価格、ウランの9倍 高浜原発で1本9億円
