給食食材の放射性物質検査実施へ via 新潟日報
県内20市町村で3月から 東京電力福島第1原発事故を受け、学校給食食材の放射性物質を調べるために県が配備する検査機器を使い、長岡市や柏崎市など県内20市町村が検査を実施 する予定であることが17日、新潟日報社の調べで分かった。そのうち、新潟市は今月から市衛生環境研究所で独自に検査を始めており、県の機器も活用する予 定。そのほかの19市町村は県の機器の配備を待ち、3月にも始めるという。 続きは給食食材の放射性物質検査実施へ

スギ花粉のセシウム調査へ 東北や関東で大学チーム via msn.産経ニュース
茨城大などの共同チームは19日、東京電力福島第1原発事故による放射性セシウムが、花粉でどの程度飛散するかを東北や関東の市街地で計測する計画を発表した。測定は、福島県内5カ所のほか、仙台市や水戸市などの11地点で実施。空気を吸引して、フィルターに付着した花粉やちりの放射性物質の量を測る。 チームによると、事故でスギの葉に降り注いだセシウムは内部に取り込まれ、花粉とともに飛散。飛散が本格化すれば大気中の放射性物質の濃度が、現在の10倍程度に上がる可能性もあるという。 続きはスギ花粉のセシウム調査へ 東北や関東で大学チーム
