福島第一処理水 海洋放出の利点強調 大気も選択肢 政府小委提言へ via 東京新聞
東京電力福島第一原発で増え続ける処理水の処分方法などを議論する政府小委員会は三十一日、前例のある海洋と大気への放出を「現実的な選択肢」とし、うち放射性物質監視などの面から「海洋放出の方が確実に実施できる」と強調する提言案を大筋で了承した。報告書としてまとめた後、政府が方針を決める。 (略) 小委は地層注入、水素放出、地下埋設も含めた五つの処分方法を検討し、経済産業省は前回会合で、国内外で処分実績のある海洋と大気の放出を軸にした具体的な三案を示したが今回、こうした書きぶりは修正した。担当者は「政府に判断材料を示すことが小委の役割」と説明する。 海洋放出については、大気放出と比べ希釈や拡散の状況が予測しやすく監視体制の構築が容易と評価。第一原発でも事故前に放出実績があり、東電が設備設計や運用の知見を持つため、より確実な処分が可能だとした。 処分すれば、原発事故の風評被害に上乗せされる形でさらに経済的影響が出る恐れが極めて高いと指摘。情報発信も併せてこれまで効果があった対策を強化、拡充すべきだと要請した。 <福島第一原発の処理水> 事故で溶け落ちた核燃料がある1~3号機の建屋内に注ぎ続けている冷却水や流入した地下水で発生した汚染水を、多核種除去設備(ALPS)で浄化処理した水。同設備で除去できない放射性物質トリチウムが含まれる一方、他の放射性物質も一部残留しているのが判明した。構内でタンクに保管中だが、東京電力は容量の限界が近いとしており、廃炉作業への影響が懸念されている。 全文は福島第一処理水 海洋放出の利点強調 大気も選択肢 政府小委提言へ
