Agni-I nuclear-capable missile test fired successfully in Odisha via India Today

The Agni-I missile was successfully test fired today by India today from Dr Abdul Kalam Island test range off the Odisha coast as part of Strategic Forces Command (SFC) training exercise. The nuclear-capable missile is proficient in hitting a target at a distance of 700 kms.
The trial was “part of training exercise by Strategic Forces Command of Indian Army”, defence sources said, noting it was a “perfect launch”.
