▼安田純治さん(82)は、軍国少年だった。 (略)硬骨の弁護士だった父ははっきり口にこそしないが、戦争に否定的だった ▼純治少年が飛行士を目指すと言った時も、父は「そうあせるな」と引き留めた。少年は心の中で父を非国民と罵(ののし)りつつ、「それでは間に合わない」と志を貫いた ▼戦争が終わって大人たちは突然、民主主義者になった。故郷の福島に帰り、途方に暮れていた安田さんは終戦の年の秋、新聞を読んでいて衝撃を受けた。軍国主義に抗(あらが)って獄につながれていた政治犯が、釈放されたとの記事だった ▼「絶望的な状況の中で反戦を唱えていた人がいた。時流に抗した人がこの国には存在したのだ」。その時の思いが安田弁護士の背骨だ。三十年前には 「故郷への反逆者」と罵られながら、福島原発の設置認可取り消し訴訟の弁護団長を務めた。難しい裁判とは分かっていたが、福島にも原発に反対する人がいた という証しを残したかったからだ ▼その時の裁判で指摘した原子炉の水素爆発が、現実に起きた。いま安田さんは、原発事故で故郷や仕事を失った人が起こした訴訟の弁護団長を務める。元軍国少年の闘いは続く。
原発事故対応「なぜ税金」 福島・前双葉町長が講演 via 西日本新聞
