イラク、盗難の放射性物質を発見 via Sputnik
イラク保健省は21日、イラク政権が盗まれていた放射性物質が発見されたことを明らかにした。ロイター通信が保健相の声明を引用して報じた。 イ ラク環境省はこれまで、バスラ市近郊にある米企業「ウエェザーフォード」の倉庫から11月末、「非常に危険」な放射性物質紛失したことを明らかにしてい た。盗難された機械はノートブック大の防御カバーに入れられ、パイプの亀裂を見つけるためのガンマー線のジェネレーターとして使われていた。この機械には 極めて危険度の高い放射性物質であるイリジウム192が10グラム入っていた。 続きはイラク、盗難の放射性物質を発見
関西電力 原発安全対策膨張 福井の7基で5279億円 via 毎日新聞
関西電力が、原発の新規制基準に対応する安全対策費として、福井県内の7基で少なくとも5279億円を見込んでいることが分かった。新基準施行前は11基 で2850億円だった。適合性審査に合格した高浜原発3、4号機は審査の過程で地震や津波の想定見直しなどを迫られ、当初の117億円から10倍以上に膨 らんでいる。審査中の大飯3、4号機や美浜3号機も想定する地震の大きさが引き上げられており、安全対策費はさらに大幅に増える見通しだ。 (略) 関電の原発は高浜1〜4▽大飯1〜4▽美浜1〜3号機−−の計11基(いずれも福井県)。新基準施行後、美浜1、2号機は廃炉が決定した。大飯1、2号機は再稼働の審査申請が出されていない。 既に新基準に合格するか、審査中の7基の対策費の内訳は、高浜1〜4号機3881億円▽大飯3、4号機108億円▽美浜3号機1290億円。 高浜3、4号機は審査を申請した当初、地震の最大の強さを550ガル(ガルは加速度の単位)、津波の最大の高さを2.6メートルと想定していた。しか し、原子力規制委員会の指摘でそれぞれ700ガル、6.7メートルに引き上げられ、工事費用が増えた。さらに、大型航空機を衝突させるようなテロ対策費と して691億円を見込んでいる。 全文は関西電力 原発安全対策膨張 福井の7基で5279億円
