◆漫画家 手塚治虫さん(1989年死去、享年60) ◇科学の子の哀しみ 「欲望の結末」問い続け 「アトムが住んでいた」という街に出かけた。都電に揺られて。 池袋の隣町なのに、時が止まったようなたたずまいが残る東京都豊島区雑司が谷の鬼子母神前。セミの声が降るケヤキ並木から入った路地に、手塚治虫さんが1950年代に暮らした2階建てアパートがある。 55年の雑誌「少年」新年号の付録「鉄腕アトム」表紙裏には、アトムから読者への手紙という体裁で、こんな一文がある。 <いま、ぼくは東京の雑司ケ谷に、一年あとで生まれた、ロボットのおとうさんとおかあさんといっしょにすんでいます> (中略) 「アトムについては、原子力関係の方からキャラクターとして使いたい、という話がずいぶんありました」。新宿区高田馬場、アトムの石像が正面玄関で出迎 えてくれる手塚プロダクションの一室でこう語るのは松谷孝征さん(66)。出版社の「手塚番」編集者から、マネジャーとして73年に手塚プロ入社。85年 からは社長を務める。最晩年に至るまでの手塚さんの仕事ぶりを知る人物だ。「でも、手塚は『原発は安全性が確立されている技術ではない。まして人間が管理 している。人間は間違いを犯すものだ』と言って、原発関係は一切断っていました」 続きは特集ワイド:この夏に会いたい/7 漫画家・手塚治虫さん ◇ 関連記事: ・手塚治虫インタビュー:ぼくも原発に反対です

東京電力福島第1原発事故を受け福島県外を含め避難生活を余儀なくされた住民の中に、勤務先から職場復帰を求められた際、放射性物質への不安などを理由に復帰先延ばしを希望したため、退職や解雇を迫られる事例が相次いでいる。13日までの避難住民らへの取材で明らかになった。 厚生労働省は「職場が通常の活動を再開しているなら、退職を求めても不当とは言えない」と指摘するが、避難住民は「原発事故という特殊な状況を考慮していない。柔軟に対応してほしい」と訴えている。 原発避難の住民に退職迫る 職場復帰先延ばし要望に
