[…] 第1原発、第2原発を10月末に取材した。メルトダウンが起きた第1原発ではマスクや手袋をつけて鉄骨がむき出しになった建屋に近づいた。内部には核燃料が溶け落ちた燃料デブリが残り、建物に近づくほど放射線量が高くなる。取材で浴びた量は歯科撮影3回分の0・03ミリシーベルトと微量だが、見えない脅威に緊張感は高まった。 一方、宮崎県内に原発はないが、7月の国の発表によると、原発の使用済み核燃料から出る高レベル放射性廃棄物(核のごみ)の最終処分場選定で、地質学的な適否を推定する「科学的特性マップ」に県沿岸部のほとんどが適地とされた。県は「最終処分場は国全体で解決する問題。今後の推移を見守っていきたい」としており、県内の市民団体からは「県が最終処分場は受け入れないと明言すべきだ」との声も上がっている。 しかし、核のごみは必ずどこかで処分しなければならないのも事実だ。原発の代償をどのように背負っていくか、原発のない県も真剣に考えて答えを出す必要があるだろう。【宮原健太】 全文

生徒が復興への思い発表 福島と熊本・水俣交流事業 via 福島民友
福島県PTA連合会は3~5日、本年度で終了する「福島・水俣交流事業」の生徒交流学習会を郡山市などで開いた。 同市のミューカルがくと館で発表会を開催。同事業にこれまで参加した本県や熊本県水俣市の中学、高校生らが一堂に会し、復興に向けた思いを披露した。 同事業は、水俣病で風評被害や偏見の問題が生じた水俣市との交流から、原発事故による風評問題を抱える本県の中学生たちに復興に向けた課題などを考えてもらおうと2013(平成25)年度から始まり、体験活動や交流活動などを行ってきた。 続きは生徒が復興への思い発表 福島と熊本・水俣交流事業
