福島の児童を施設で支援 久米島、年間通じ受け入れ via 茨木新聞

東京電力福島第1原発事故の影響を受けている福島県の児童を支援するための保養施設「沖縄・球美の里」が沖縄県・久米島で完成し、8日にオープニングセレモニーが開かれた。同施設によると、年間を通じて被災児童を受け入れる施設は全国で初めて。 施設は焼き物工房だった建物を改修して造られた。施設のシンボルマークはアニメ映画監督の宮崎駿さんがデザインした。第1陣として福島県いわき市などから母子計50人が5日から20日まで滞在する予定。 続きは福島の児童を施設で支援 久米島、年間通じ受け入れ

金曜日官邸前反原発抗議行動について(運動団体各位へ) via memo box

金曜日官邸前反原発抗議行動に参集する 既存の運動諸団体各位へのお願い 毎週金曜日に官邸前をめざして行われている首都圏反原発連合有志が主催する抗議行動。2012年3月より開始され、大飯原発再稼働決定前後から参加者数が急増した。 かくいう私も、大飯原発再稼働決定前の6月24日にはじめて参加し、翌週は都合で不参加、7月6日は雨の中で遅れて参加したため、官邸前に近寄ることもできず、外務省前で声を張り上げることとなった。 この抗議行動について、既存の労働運動、平和運動、市民運動などの運動諸団体各位やその参加者から様々な声が寄せられている。いわく、生ぬるい、警察となれ合っている、籏を上げ自らの存在をアピールするのは当然である…。 私もいくつかの運動団体に所属し、運営する立場にある。これまでも、いくつかの運動の場でデモにも参加したり、主催する立場になったこともある。団体として、旗を上げるのが当然であるという気持ちも分かる。警察は国家の装置であり、国家の権力に対して異議を申し立てる際、その国家の装置に対話をもって接するのはおかしいと思う気持ちも分かる。生ぬるいと言えば生ぬるい。 しかし、しかしである。自らの胸に手を当てて考えて欲しい。私が所属し、運営に携わっている団体も含めて、少なくともこの10年、これほどまでに市民がひとつの問題で、個々人の自らの意志を持って直接行動に出たことがあったか? それを作り上げることができたか? 市民運動、大衆運動といいながら、その意志や意図を伝えきれず、その多くは停滞していたのではなかったか? 確かに私は、我々は、みなさんは、長く運動を続けている。ほとんどの人たちが気がつかないことに警鐘を上げ、それを社会化しようと取り組み続けてきた。今もその意志は変わらない。その意味はあると信じている。だからこそ続けている。それでも、多くの団体で運動の高齢化と言われ、後継問題が浮上している。47歳で20年以上取り組んでいる私でもまだまだ「若手」である。 続きは 金曜日官邸前反原発抗議行動について(運動団体各位へ)

鹿児島県知事選 現職の伊藤氏当確 via NHK

任期満了に伴う鹿児島県知事選挙は、8日、投票が行われ、無所属で現職の伊藤祐一郎氏の3回目の当選が確実になりました。 伊藤氏は、鹿児島県出水市出身の64歳。 総務省の総括審議官などを経て、前々回、平成16年の県知事選挙で初当選しました。 今回の選挙で、伊藤氏は、県議会の共産党を除く会派や農業団体など、さまざまな団体から支援を受けて組織力を生かした選挙戦を展開しました。 伊藤氏は2期8年の実績を強調するとともに、引き続き、経済の活性化や、医療、福祉の充実などに取り組みたいと訴え、幅広い層から支持を集めました。 また、今回の選挙は、関西電力大飯原子力発電所が運転再開して初めて行われる原発を抱える県での知事選挙で、原発を巡見解にも関心が寄せられました。 伊藤氏は、「脱原発」を目指すとする一方、現在のエネルギーの需給状況を考えれば、安全性が確保された原発の運転再開は必要だとして、薩摩川内市にある九州電力川内原子力発電所の運転再開を容認する考えを示しています。 鹿児島県知事選 現職の伊藤氏当確
