宗教は原発事故にどう向き合うのか――。東京電力福島第一原発の惨状を見つめるキリスト教関係者の文章を集めた「原発とキリスト教 私たちはこう考える」が出版された。 本は2部構成で、第1部「原発立地から考える」は全国各地で脱原発活動を続けている教会関係者の手記が紹介されている。 玄海原発のプルサーマル発電反対運動に携わってきた経緯や思いを記した鳥栖教会(佐賀県鳥栖市)の野中宏樹牧師(49)は、原発が過疎で 貧しい地域に押しつけられる差別問題であると指摘。「私たちが原発をどうするのか」という主体的な判断が一人一人に求められていると訴える。 野中牧師は昨年、福島を5回訪ね、物資を届けたり、被災者の話を聞いたりするなどの支援活動をした。「社会の課題に宗教者として誠実に関わりたい。人々の抱える不安を取り除くためにできることを地道に続けたい」と話す。 続きは「原発は差別問題」 キリスト者の思い

米国:イリノイ州の原発が緊急停止…外部電源喪失 via 毎日jp

米イリノイ州北部にあるバイロン原子力発電所で30日、2基ある原子炉のうち1基につながる外部電源が失われたため、炉が緊急停止した。AP通信が報じた。米原子力規制委員会(NRC)などが原因を調べている。  外部電源の喪失後、ディーゼル予備電源が作動。炉の圧力を下げるため、低レベル放射性物質を含む蒸気を大気中に放出したが、NRC当局者らによると、原発作業員や周辺住民の健康に影響しないレベルという。残る1基は稼働している。  バイロン原発は、シカゴの西約150キロに位置する。(ニューヨーク共同) 米国:イリノイ州の原発が緊急停止…外部電源喪失
