震災後、首都圏を脱出する人の動きが続いている。母子の疎開だけでなく、東から西への転職市場も活性化。人材の流出は、一時的な現象にとどまらないかもしれない。 「これまで転職地域を首都圏に限定していた技術者が、対象を全国に広げ、内定するケースが目立っている」 転職支援サービス大手のリクルートエージェントで「製造業・技術職」のキャリアアドバイザーを務める中尾公則氏は、震災後に関西地区や東海地区への転職実績が増えている現状を明かす。同社の調べによると、首都圏の技術者が関西の企業に転職した数は、5月実績で前年同月比約2倍、しかもその勢いは今も衰えていないという。 続きは

核兵器に使われるプルトニウムの大量保有につながる核燃料サイクルについて、旧通商産業省や科学技術庁の幹部が1991年、膨大な経費がかかることや日本の核武装に対する国際社会の警戒感を招くことを理由に慎重論を唱えていたことが分かった。原子力政策の重鎮で原子力委員を務めた故・島村武久氏が、原子力にかかわった政治家や学者らを招いた研究会に出席した当時の担当官僚の証言録に残されて いた。核燃料サイクルの中核を担う高速増殖炉「もんじゅ」の事故前で、政府が研究開発を奨励していた時期に証言されたものだ。 90~93年に通産省資源エネルギー庁技術課長だった谷口富裕氏は、核燃料サイクルについて「全体的展望、戦略に欠け、経済的に引き合わない」と指摘。 プルトニウムの大量保有につながるため、「政治的には(各国が)日本に警戒心を高めている中でうまくいくわけがない」と語った。 続きは核燃料サイクル、官僚に慎重論 もんじゅ事故前の証言録
