東日本大震災:福島第1原発事故 加美町の8000世帯に冊子 環境省、処分場の必要性説明 /宮城 via 毎日新聞
環境省は15日、指定廃棄物最終処分場建設に強い反対姿勢を示している加美町の全8000世帯に、処分場の必要性を説明する冊子を配布した。 冊子はA4判、8ページで「県内で処理が進んでいない稲わらなどの安全な処理に向けて」と題している。猪股洋文町長が9月に出した候補地・田代岳 の面積や勾配などに関する10項目の質問への回答を中心に、候補地を巡るこれまでの経緯、詳細調査の概要を説明する内容。同省の指定廃棄物対策チームは 「現地詳細調査の実施段階に入り、処分場に対する町民の理解を進めるための配布」としている。 一方、加美町は「町に連絡なしに配布したのは遺憾。先日の現地詳細調査の抜き打ち開始と同じやり口」と批判。今後予定される候補地のボーリング調査には、処分場反対の住民団体と連携して現地で大規模な抗議行動を展開するとしている。 続きは東日本大震災:福島第1原発事故 加美町の8000世帯に冊子 環境省、処分場の必要性説明 /宮城
汚染水に総力戦 新型浄化装置など初公開 福島第1原発 via 産經新聞
東京電力は16日、福島第1原発で、汚染水から放射性物質を取り除く新型の浄化装置や、汚染水の増加を抑えるため地下水をくみ上げる「サブドレン」を初めて報道陣に公開した。汚染水対策に東電は総力を結集して取り組んでおり、一定の効果も出ている。 (略) この日公開された新たな浄化装置は「モバイル型ストロンチウム除去装置」。汚染水の中でも特に多い放射性物質であるストロンチウム90を取り除けば大幅に放射線量が下がる。今月2日から稼働、濃度は最大千分の1まで低減できる。 汚染水の“切り札”とされる高性能な「多核種除去装置(ALPS(アルプス))」も公開された。この日に原子力規制委員会の使用前検査も行われ、今月中旬には試験運転を開始するめどが立つ。東電担当者は「これまでのALPSより廃棄物が9割軽減でき、処理量も倍になる」と期待する。 増設したアルプスや既存のものを含めると、1日当たり最大で計2千トンの汚染水処理が可能。サブドレンなどが本格稼働すれば、最大1日約400トン増え続ける汚染水も半分になる。 第1原発の小野明所長(55)は「汚染水をきれいにしようということでやっている。廃炉と汚染水は2本立てで一生懸命やっていく」と語った。(天野健作) 全文は汚染水に総力戦 新型浄化装置など初公開 福島第1原発 関連記事;福島第1原発、汚染水浄化「ALPS」の新型が稼働 via 日本経済新聞
