「埋設保管土壌の回収」公開 郡山で回収作業実証実験 via 福島民友
除染作業で住宅敷地などに埋設保管されている土壌の回収作業の実証実験が3日、郡山市で行われ、高圧吸引車を使い土壌を吸引、回収するシステムが関係者に公開された。同市の一般住宅の除染で発生した土壌の大半はフレコンバッグ(包み袋)に入れられた後、敷地内に一時的に埋設保管されている。中間貯蔵施設などに土壌を搬出するには掘り起こしての回収作業が必要になるが、住宅密集地などでは埋設場所に重機を入れて袋を引き上げることができないため、有効な回収方法が模索されている。 全文を読む。

原発事故賠償の時効延長、特例法が成立 via 朝日新聞
東京電力が民法上の時効を理由に福島第一原発事故の損害賠償に応じないことを防ぐため、今回の原発事故の被害に限り、時効を3年から10年に延ばす特例法が4日、参院本会議で成立した。少なくとも2021年3月11日までは、時効で賠償を受けられなくなる可能性がなくなる。月内にも公布、施行される。 また、不法行為の時から20年が過ぎると損害賠償を求める権利がなくなる民法の「除斥期間」についても、今回の原発事故に限り「損害が生じた時から20年」とし、甲状腺がんなど、一定期間を経てから現れる損害に対応できるようにする。 続きは原発事故賠償の時効延長、特例法が成立
