練馬区民が閲覧制限請求に抗議の署名提出――『はだしのゲン』を隠すな via 週刊金曜日ニュース
東京の練馬区教育委員会に「『はだしのゲン』の教育現場からの撤去を求める陳情」が提出されたことに抗議し、市民団体が一一月五日、自由閲覧の継続を求める八五五〇筆の署名を同会に提出した。 反戦漫画として知られる『はだしのゲン』をめぐってはこの八月、松江市教委が市内の小中学校に閲覧制限を求めたが、多くの抗議を受けて撤回。だが その後、一〇月一日に発売された雑誌『正論』が「『はだしのゲン』許すまじ!」と題した特集を組み、「反日的なイデオロギー」などと攻撃した。 神奈川県議会では一〇月三日、自民党議員が「発達段階に応じた教育的配慮」などと実質的に閲覧制限を求める質問をし、県側が「検討する」と回答し ている。練馬区の「撤去を求める陳情」はこうした右派の動きの一環と見られるが、これに対し「『はだしのゲン』の自由閲覧を求める練馬区民の会」が反対の 署名運動を始めた。 署名では「有害図書」としてこの作品を撤去するのは、「表現の自由」などの侵害で、「『非核都市宣言』を有する練馬区にあってはならないこと」と 強調。作品が「未来に生きる子どもたちが、再び戦争に突入することのない、平和な社会を築くことを、マンガを通して訴えたもの」とし、自由な閲覧を守るよ う訴えている。 続きは練馬区民が閲覧制限請求に抗議の署名提出――『はだしのゲン』を隠すな
