「安全なら飲んでみろ」=東電、地下水放出説明-漁業者から厳しい声・福島第1via 時事ドットコム

東京電力と資源エネルギー庁は30日、福島第1原発の放射能汚染水対策として、流入する地下水を原子炉建屋で汚染される前にくみ上げ海に放出する計画につ いて、福島県のいわき市漁業協同組合の会合で説明し、理解を求めた。漁業者側からは、安全性や風評被害を懸念する声や汚染水への抜本策を求める意見が相次 いだ。 同漁協の矢吹正一組合長は終了後、「海に流してもいいという人は誰もいない。1回の説明では足りない」と述べ、6月7日に同県相馬市で予 定されている説明会とは別に、説明を受けたい意向を示した。 (略) 会合には組合員ら約120人が参加。東電は、原発に流入する地下水を減らすことで、汚染水を抑制できると説明。地下水に含まれる放射性物質は国の基準値を大幅に下回っており、「生活用水としても使えるレベル」と安全性を強調した。 これに対し、漁業者側からは「それなら飲んでみればよい」「建屋から(汚染水が)出たらどうする」など怒りの声が上がった。国の責任を明確にするべきだとの指摘も出た。 全文は「安全なら飲んでみろ」=東電、地下水放出説明-漁業者から厳しい声・福島第1

社説[放射能漏れ事故]組織を一から作り直せ via 沖縄タイムス

 「安全神話」の中にいまだに浸っているのではないか。原発と同じ放射性物質を扱っているとの危機意識が希薄だったというほかない。 日本原子力研究開発機構(原子力機構)の加速器実験施設「J-PARC」(茨城県東海村)で、放射性物質が漏えいした事故である。実験施設に出入りした研究員らが放射性物質を吸い込み、計34人が被ばくした。 住民が生活している施設外へも「漏えいした」が、原子力規制委員会の田中俊一委員長が言うように「漏えいさせた」というのが正確だ。 29日に開かれた原子力規制委でも「モラルが欠如している」などと批判が相次いだ。事故の経緯を見れば、安全性をないがしろにした看過できない行動の連続である。 実験施設は原子力機構と高エネルギー加速器研究機構が共同運営する。国や自治体への通報や事故対策は原子力機構の役目だ。 (略) 福島の原発事故から何を学んだのだろうか。 事故を最小限にとどめることができたかもしれないサインが出ていたのに無視した。事故は「想定外」との考えに縛られていたことが原因だ。 少なくとも三つの問題点が指摘できる。(1)警報が出たにもかかわらず実験を続けた(2)放射性物質を住民が生活する施設外に排出した(3)国や地元への通報が発生から1日半も遅れた-ことである。 全文は社説[放射能漏れ事故]組織を一から作り直せ

原子力規制庁、「もんじゅ」に運転再開の準備さえ禁じる命令書 via Blogos

この上なく危険な穀潰しに厳しい御沙汰が下された。穀潰しとは巨額な国費を無駄食いしながらほとんど発電せず、事故を繰り返す「もんじゅ」のことだ。 約1万点にのぼる部品の点検漏れが見つかった高速増殖炉「もんじゅ」。原子力規制庁はきょう、もんじゅを管理する日本原子力研究開発機構(JAEA)の幹部を呼び、運転再開に向けた準備さえも行ってはならないとする命令書を手渡した。原子炉等規制法に基づく措置だ。 (略) 筆者は上述のトラブルを挙げたうえで辻倉副理事長に「この期に及んでまだ未練たらしくもんじゅ を動かしたいか?」と質問した。 辻倉副理事長は「もんじゅ 開発の意義は変わるものではない」「新理事長のリーダーシップのもと今後も開発に取り組んで行きたい」と突っぱねた。 記者団から具体的な改善策を訪ねられると副理事長は「新理事長のもと…」を繰り返した。 先発国の米国、英国、フランス、ドイツは高速増殖炉計画からすでに撤退している。経費の無駄遣いと技術的に無理だからだ。 今年度中の運転再開が不可能であることは、辻倉副理事長も認めている。動かなくても1日につき5,500万円の維持費が無駄使いされる。政府はいつまで危険この上ない穀潰しを維持し続けるのだろうか? 全文は原子力規制庁、「もんじゅ」に運転再開の準備さえ禁じる命令書 関連記事: もんじゅ再開準備中止に=規制委が決定、点検漏れ問題 via 時事ドットコム
