【福井】美浜2号機運転40年…山口・美浜町長に聞く via Yomiuri online
福井県三方郡美浜町の関西電力美浜原発2号機が7月25日に運転開始から40年を迎えた。原発を運転開始40年で原則廃炉とする改正原子炉等規制 法が6月に成立し、約2年古い1号機とともに廃炉が現実味を帯びてきた。財源の45%を原発関連収入に頼るだけに、いつ再稼働するのか、いつまで運転でき るのかなど、原発の行方は町運営を大きく左右する。山口治太郎町長に見通しなどを聞いた。(島田喜行) ――原発は原則40年で廃炉とする新ルールができた。 「40年の原則は政治判断で、科学的根拠に基づいていない。個々のプラントを精査し、安全が確認されれば動かすべきだ」 ――関電は1、2号機のストレステスト(耐性検査)の評価結果を経済産業省原子力安全・保安院に提出していない。他の原発に比べ、再稼働の優先度が低い、との見方もある。 「1、2号機は現行基準に沿って国に10年間の運転延長を認められており、関電からは『技術的には60年間運転できる』との説明を受けている。早く評価結果を出してほしい。3号機の耐性検査の審査も進めてほしい」 続きは【福井】美浜2号機運転40年…山口・美浜町長に聞く
