原発・節電 小中学生が意見発表 via asahi.com
011年08月04日◆島大付属小で公開授業、多様な見方学ぶ◆ 福島第一原発事故で関心が高まる原発問題と節電をテーマにした公開授業が3日、松江市大輪町の島根大付属小学校であった。4年2組の26人と、付属中学校3年3組の25人が、それぞれ議論し意見発表した。 県内の社会科教諭らの研究大会の一環。小学校では、自分ができる節電の方法を問われた児童たちが「家族と同じ部屋で過ごして使うエアコンを減らす」「使わないテレビやゲームなどはコンセントを抜く」などと発表した。 中学生には付属中の大島悟副校長が指導した。「今後、国内の原発をどうすべきか」について、生徒たちは「増やす」「現状維持」「減らす」「すべて廃止」の中から選び、6班に分かれて取り組んだ。 続きは原発・節電 小中学生が意見発表

2011.8.3 22:32 (1/2ページ) 福島第1原発の汚染水処理に使う、新たな浄化装置の設置作業=7月30日(東京電力提供) 東京電力福島第1原発で、高濃度の放射性物質(放射能)を含む汚染水の浄化に伴って発生す る放射性廃棄物が増加している。放射能が濃縮された「超高濃度のゴミ」だが、現行法では扱いが決まっておらず、処理方法も未定だ。浄化システムの稼働率が 低迷、汚染水が減らない一方で、廃棄物の一部は想定を上回るペースで増え続けており、新たな課題となっている。(原子力取材班) 高濃度汚 染水の処理システムのうち、放射性セシウムを除去する米キュリオン社製装置では、吸着剤を詰めた「吸着塔」がゴミとして発生する。容器表面の放射線量が毎 時4ミリシーベルトを超えると交換し、東電は当初、使用済み吸着塔が年内に約400本発生すると見込んでいた。 しかし、汚染水の濃度が高すぎたため、2日までに101本を交換、早くも想定の4分の1を超えた。 続きは超高濃度ゴミの処理どうする? 増えるいっぽう、法律なし
