After forming govt in Delhi, AAP reaches out to anti-Kudankulam protesters via Indiatoday

After forming government in Delhi, looks like AAP is reaching out to other states also by picking up the local issues. AAP’s support to anti-Kudankulam protests could turn political. AAP’s Prashant Bhushan held meeting with anti-Kudankulam protests leader SP Udayakumar in Idinthakarai on Sunday.

He also addressed a public meeting. Sources say that Bhushan has urged Udayakumar to attach himself to AAP and contest in 2014 Lok Sabha elections. However, anti-kudankulam protesters are yet to take a decision. By this move, AAP could get at least four constituencies in Kanyakumari, Tuticorin and Nagercoil. The fishermen community in the area are supporting anti-Kudankulam protests.

Even before this meteoric rise, Arvind Kejriwal had visited Idinthakarai to offer support for the protest.

As the elections are nearing, AAP is getting ready to explore the Dravidian land as well.
