東日本大震災による東京電力福島第1原発事故を受け、北海道電力泊原発(泊村)を抱える後志地方の4町議会で、国や道に対し、原発の段階的運転停止や泊原発3号機のプルサーマル計画の撤回などを求める意見書が相次いで可決された。 余市町▽黒松内町▽仁木町▽古平町の4町議会で、意見書は各町議会で異なるが、原発からの撤退や自然エネルギーへの転換を国へ求める内容だ。倶知安町とニセコ町でも同様の意見書が提出されており、常任委員会で審議を継続、9月の定例議会で結論が出る見込み。 余市町議会は23日、安全協定や地域防災計画の見直し▽プルサーマル発電に使用するMOX(ウラン・プルトニウム混合酸化物)燃料の製造申請の撤回か凍結▽将来的な廃炉に向けた段階的運転停止▽道内の放射能調査の継続▽国に対し原発推進のエネルギー政策の転換を要望--の5項目の意見書を道へ送付した。国への意見書も同封した。 意見書を可決した4町は泊原発からは半径10~40キロの距離にあり電力会社と安全協定などが締結されるEPZ(防災対策の重点地域)の範囲外。【坂井友子】 泊原発:周辺4町、国と道に停止求め意見書 プルサーマル中止も /北海道
