「東北と東京の分断くっきり」 小熊英二
(朝日新聞 2011年4月28日) この記事の新聞掲載からもうそろそろ二ヶ月経ちますが、あえて乗せます。 東北が「米どころ」の地位を確率したのは戦後だという歴史は、意外と知られていない。熱帯原野の商品作物であるコメは、東北では大正期まで収量が低かった。それが変わった背景は、農業技術の進歩もあるが、東京市場の膨張、戦中と敗戦後の食料増産政策、戦前のコメ供給地だった朝鮮と台湾の分離などである。こうして東北は、コメ・野菜・水産物などの東京への供給地となった。 また東北は、東京への低廉な労働力の供給地だった。高度成長期の集団就職や出稼ぎだけでなく、高卒農村女性を始めとした低賃金の非正規労働者の存在が、下請け部品工場などを東北に誘致する力となった。 本文を読むにはこちらをクリック

長崎原爆の日:平和宣言文で初、原発からの脱却盛る via Mainichi jp
長崎市は18日、今年の平和祈念式典(8月9日)で市長が読む「平和宣言文」の素案を起草委員会に示した。福島第1原発事故を踏まえ、「制御できない原子力技術からの脱却」を求める趣旨を盛り込んだ。委員の意見を受けて修正し、来月下旬に完成させる。【釣田祐喜】 素案は、東日本大震災の年の原爆忌であることを強く意識。がれきと化した沿岸部の風景に被爆者は当時を思い起こしたとし、被災者への痛切な共感を 訴えた。また、原発事故については、世界中どこでも起こりうる事態で放射能汚染は地球全体にかかわると指摘。科学技術はそれを制御できるかを謙虚に検証 し、制御できない技術からは脱却するよう求めた。その上で大量の放射能を出す原爆の非人道性を強調、廃絶の必要性を訴えている。 これに対し委員からは「原発を制御できないのは既に明らか」「原発に依存しない方向性をもっと強く書くべき」など、脱原発方針を強く打ち出すよう求める意見が相次いだ。一方で「『制御できない』とはっきり科学技術を否定していいのか」との意見もあった。 起草委員長の田上富久市長は終了後の取材に「今回の案はたたき台。今日の意見を踏まえて新たな案を作る」と述べた。市は来月2日の第3回会合で原案を提示、さらに委員の意見を聞いて仕上げる。 〔長崎版〕 毎日新聞 2011年6月19日 地方版
