再生エネルギー、原発抜く 昨年の世界発電容量 風力や太陽光 米シンクタンク報告(共同)via 北海道新聞
【ワシントン共同】2010年の世界の発電容量は、風力や太陽光などの再生可能エネルギーが原発を初めて逆転したとする世界の原子力産業に関する報告書を、米シンクタンク「ワールドウオッチ研究所」が15日までにまとめた。 原発は、安全規制が厳しくなったことや建設費用の増加で1980年代後半から伸び悩み、2010年の発電容量は3億7500万キロワット。一方、再生可能エネルギーは地球温暖化対策で注目されて急激に増加し、風力と太陽、バイオマス、小規模水力の合計は3億8100万キロワットになり、初めて原発を上回った。 再生エネルギー、原発抜く 昨年の世界発電容量 風力や太陽光 米シンクタンク報告

大間原発建設 30キロ圏の函館で強まる懸念 依存の地元「止められぬ」 via 北海道新聞
東京電力の福島第1原発事故を受け、電源開発(東京)が青森県大間町に建設中の大間原発から半径30キロ圏にかかる函館市で建設中止を求める声が強まっている。一方、地元の大間町では、震災直後から中断している建設工事の早期再開を望む声が上がる。町経済を原発マネーに頼らざるを得ない現実が、安全性への不安を覆い隠しているようだ。(函館報道部 内本智子、写真も) 函館からフェリーで1時間40分。大間港から見える原発建設の巨大クレーンは止まっていた。建設工事は、東日本大震災直後は「電気や燃料が確保できない」、その後は「建設資材の調達ができない」(いずれも電源開発)などを理由に中断しており、再開のめどは立っていない。 続きは 大間原発建設 30キロ圏の函館で強まる懸念 依存の地元「止められぬ」
