社説 東電の日本原電支援 無理を重ねる原発延命策 via 毎日新聞
福島第1原発事故の賠償・廃炉に責任を負う東京電力ホールディングスが、経営難の日本原子力発電を助ける。無理に無理を重ねる構図だ。 東電は原電が再稼働を目指す東海第2原発(茨城県)の安全対策工事への資金支援を決めた。原電が自力で工事費を賄えなかったからだ。 再稼働後に原電から受け取る電気の代金を前払いする形という。支援額を明らかにしていないが、2200億円にのぼる見込みだ。 東電は支援の理由を「低廉で二酸化炭素排出量の少ない電源として期待できる」と説明した。しかし、東海第2は安全対策工事を終えても再稼働できるか疑問視されている。 (略) 原電は全原発4基のうち2基が廃炉作業中だ。2基が残るが、敦賀原発2号機(福井県)は原子炉建屋直下に活断層がある可能性が指摘され、再稼働は難しい。東海第2が動かなければ、会社の命運が尽きる。 東日本大震災後に全原発が止まった原電の経営は、東電などが原発の維持・管理を名目に払う年1000億円の基本料金で支えられてきた。 原発再稼働を推進する政府は東電の原電支援を黙認している。だが、無理を重ねて原電や原発の延命を図ろうとしても、世論や地元の理解が得られるとは思えない。 全文は社説 東電の日本原電支援 無理を重ねる原発延命策
