年内開設目指す 緊急被ばく・災害医療学講座 via 福島民報

福島医大の「災害・被ばく・救命救急」の医療体制構築に向けた第2回有識者会議は8日、福島市の同大で開かれ、被ばく医療などを担う講座の開設を正式に決めた。「緊急被ばく・災害医療学講座」とし、年内の開設を目指す。 会議は非公開で、終了後に座長の横山斉同大理事が説明した。9月から教授一人の公募を開始し、教授、准教授、講師ら4人体制とする。救急医療学講座との連携を強化し、診療、教育、研究を充実させる。 (略) 重篤な外部・内部被ばく患者に対応する三次被ばく医療機関の指定を目指す方針もあらためて確認した。国内で既に三次指定を受けている放射線医学総合研究所 (放医研)=千葉市=、広島大との連携、国際機関との協力関係を構築する。横山座長は「早期から人材確保や施設整備を進め、緊急時に備える必要がある」と 講座開設の意義を説明した。 全文は年内開設目指す 緊急被ばく・災害医療学講座

福島第1原発:吉田元所長が死去 事故時に現場対応 via 毎日新聞

東京電力福島第1原発事故の際、収束作業を指揮した元所長の吉田昌郎(よしだ・まさお)さん=執行役員=が9日、食道がんのため東京都内の病院で死去した。58歳。葬儀は未定。 大阪府出身。東京工業大大学院で原子核工学を専攻し、1979年、東電に入社した。本店原子力設備管理部長などを歴任。一貫して原子力の技術畑を歩いた。2010年6月に第1原発所長に就任した。 11年11月中旬、健康診断で食道がんが見つかり、12月1日付で所長職を退いた。その後、体調が回復 し復帰の意向を周囲にもらしていたが、12年7月に脳出血で倒れ、自宅療養を続けていた。吉田さんの事故後からの被ばく線量は約70ミリシーベルト。東電 広報部は「担当医の診断の結果、死去と被ばくとの直接的な関係はない」としている。 吉田さんは事故直後の11年3月12日夜、本店幹部が1号機への海水注入を中断するよう指示したのに対し、独断で注入を継続。中断すれば1号機の燃料溶融がさらに進行した可能性があり、その判断が評価された。 続きは 福島第1原発:吉田元所長が死去 事故時に現場対応
