原発賠償、自殺で初の和解 東電と福島の農業男性 via 日本経済新聞
東 京電力福島第1原発事故後に福島県須賀川市の農業男性(当時64)が自殺したのは事故が原因だったとして、遺族が賠償を求め申し立てた裁判外紛争解決手続 き(ADR)で、東電が自殺との因果関係を認めて和解が成立したことが3日、分かった。弁護団によると、自殺で賠償の和解が成立したのは初めて。 弁護団によると、男性はキャベツ栽培をしており、国から出荷制限の連絡を受けた翌日の2011年3月24日に自殺した。東電が原発事故との因果関係を認めず賠償に応じなかったため、12年6月、遺族が原子力損害賠償紛争解決センターにADRを申し立てた。 ADRでは、遺族が精神科医による鑑定意見書を提出、事故で農業ができなくなった男性は急性抑うつ症になったと主張した。センターの仲介委員は「因果関係が認められる」として、東電が慰謝料や葬儀費用を支払う和解案を提示していた。金額などは公表されていない。 弁護団の馬奈木厳太郎弁護士は「東電が和解案を受け入れたことは画期的だ」と話している。 続きは 原発賠償、自殺で初の和解 東電と福島の農業男性
