東京電力福島第一原子力発電所の貯蔵タンクから汚染水が漏えいした問題で、東電は３１日、タンク全体の詳しい調査を実施し、４か所で高い放射線量が観測され、このうち１か所で毎時１８００ミリ・シーベルトが確認されたと発表した。 この場所は、２２日の点検時には毎時１００ミリ・シーベルトだった地点だが、今回の調査で約１８倍の値に修正した。 また、８月１９日に３００トンの汚染水の漏れが確認された付近では、毎時７０ミリ・シーベルトを観測。新たに４号機西側のタンク群で、毎時２３０ ミリ・シーベルトの高い線量が確認された。このタンクの配管の継ぎ目からは、９０秒間に１滴の割合で汚染水の漏れが確認された。 続きは汚染水、最大で毎時１８００ミリ・シーベルト
