福島第一原子力発電所の現状についてはいまさら説明するまでもありません。しかし確認しておかなければならないことは、次の事実です。 暴発を防ぐためには、ホースによる散水のような一時的な処置ではなく、10年の単位の時間安定して作動する冷却設備を設置し、これを故障することなく保守・運転し続けなければならない。 この冷却設備の建設・保守・運転は、すでに高度に放射能汚染された環境下で行わざるを得ない。 もし、安定した冷却設備を建設・保守・運転できなければ、3000万人もの人口を抱える首都圏をも含めた広範な汚染が発生する可能性がある。 詳細は『結成へむけて』 – 「福島原発　暴発阻止行動　プロジェクト」へ。
