原発排水で日本海に熱帯魚が定着 高浜原発周辺、稼働停止でいなくなる via 福井新聞

関西電力高浜原発(福井県高浜町)からの排水で海が温められることで、周辺に熱帯魚が定着していたとの研究結果を、京都大学舞鶴水産実験所の益田玲爾教授が6月29日までにオンライン科学誌プロスワンに発表した。海流で南から運ばれてきた幼魚が越冬に成功したとみられるが、東日本大震災後に稼働停止するといなくなった。 原発稼働中、周辺の海水温は2度高く、地球温暖化が進んだ2050年ごろの状態に相当する。益田さんは「生息域が拡大して良かったという話ではない。狭い日本海で多くの原発が稼働すると、元々いた魚や海藻が減少するなど、環境が大きく変わる」と指摘。原発の温排水による局所的な温暖化の影響に注意を促した。 益田さんは04~17年、冬に若狭湾内の高浜原発近くの海で潜水調査を実施。運転中は通常の海水温より7度高い排水が出るため魚の数や種類が増え、本来は越冬できないソラスズメダイやカミナリベラなどの熱帯性の魚も生息していた。 (略)  比較のため、同じ湾内で石炭火力発電所の近くや排熱を伴う施設のない海域でも調べたが、原発近くのような変化は見られなかった。 全文は原発排水で日本海に熱帯魚が定着 高浜原発周辺、稼働停止でいなくなる
