　米国の科学者らでつくる「憂慮する科学者同盟」のエドウィ ン・ライマン氏が９日、東京都内で記者会見し、九州電力川内原発（鹿児島県）などを再稼働する前に、不測の事態に備えるため、原子炉建屋の使用済み核燃料 プールの燃料を可能な限り、乾式貯蔵施設に移すべきだと訴えた。 東京電力福島第１原発事故の際、建屋が爆発した４号機でプールの冷却水が失われる危険があり、露出した燃料から大量の放射性物質が外部に放出される懸念が高まった。 続きは再稼働前に乾式貯蔵を　米科学者がプール燃料懸念
