WASHINGTON—An investigation has found that Gregory Jaczko, the outgoing chairman of the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission, behaved in a way that was “not supportive of an open and collaborative work environment” and gave testimony to Congress last year that contradicted accounts from other senior agency officials, according to part of an inspector general’s report viewed Tuesday by The Wall Street Journal.
The report, drafted at the request of Sen. James Inhofe (R., Okla.) and others, probed allegations against Mr. Jaczko that arose during tensions between him and the four other NRC commissioners. The agency oversees U.S. nuclear reactors.
