【チェルノブイリ取材】知られざる事実 / チェルノブイリ原発の最深部に作られた「行方不明者1名」の墓 via Rocket News 24
メルトダウン(炉心溶融)によって引き起こされた、チェルノブイリ原子力発電所事故。この事故は1986年4月26日に発生し、多くの犠牲者と大規模な環境汚染を起こした。あれから27年が経過したが、あまり知られていない事実がある。 ・原発内に建てられた墓 事故が発生したチェルノブイリ原発4号炉には1名の行方不明者がおり、27年が経過した現在も発見されておらず、彼の墓が原発内に建てられているのであ る。しかも建物の内部にあるのだ。しかしその墓は放射線被曝線量が20~25μSv/h(毎時マイクロシーベルト)と高く、長居できないのである。 (略) ・高い線量で長居できない 職員によると、彼の名はワレリー・ホデムチュクさん。いま現在も行方不明で、彼はメルトダウンした原発のなかでいまも眠っているとのこと。しかし線量が高 いため、長居できないという。なぜなら、このフロアはメルトダウンした4号炉の真横に「事故後」に作られたものであり、墓の向こうには炉があるのである。 ・いまも墓に花が添えられている しかし、それでもこうして造花や生花が添えられているということは、職員が彼の存在を忘れることなく「事故の事実」や「人の命」を深く考えているからだろう。いまも原発で眠っている彼は、いつか誰かの手によって起こされることがあるのだろうか。 全文は【チェルノブイリ取材】知られざる事実 / チェルノブイリ原発の最深部に作られた「行方不明者1名」の墓 関連記事:【チェルノブイリ取材】原発職員のチケット式の食堂を徹底取材 / 料理が美味しい理由が明らかに via Rocket News 24
