「原発は援助しない」、世銀と国連が表明 via AFP
【11月28日 AFP】世界銀行(World Bank)と国連(UN)は27日、最貧国に電力網を整備するため数十億ドル規模の資金援助が必要だと訴えるとともに、いずれの国においても原子力発電への投資は行わない考えを表明した。 世銀のジム・ヨン・キム(Jim Yong Kim)総裁と国連の潘基文(パン・キムン、Ban Ki-moon)事務総長は、2030年までに世界中の全ての人が電力の供給を受けられるようにする取り組みについて記者団に説明した。その中でキム総裁は「われわれは原発は行わない」と明言した。 キム総裁によると、世銀は来年6月までに42か国の発電計画をまとめる予定。電力網の整備やエネルギー効率の倍増、再生可能エネルギー比率の倍増などを掲げ、目標達成には年間およそ6000~8000億ドル(約61兆~82兆円)が必要になるとしている。 しかしキム総裁は、集まった資金は新エネルギー開発にのみ使用すると報道陣に明言。 続きは「原発は援助しない」、世銀と国連が表明 当サイト既出関連記事:World Bank says no money for nuclear power via AFP
