イラン「核開発続ける」 IAEAが施設の稼働確認 via asahi.com
イランの最高指導者ハメネイ師は9日、「帝国主義者ども(欧米)はイラン政府と国民を制裁で脅しているが、我々は決めた道を歩み続ける」と述べ、核開発の放棄を拒否する姿勢を改めて示した。国営テレビが伝えた。 ハメネイ師は「すべての政府機関が断固としてこの原則を守り、脅しに屈することはない」と強調した。米国が制裁のレベルを引き上げ、欧州連合(EU)も追随の動きを見せるのに対し、イランは原油輸送の要衝であるホルムズ海峡の封鎖を示唆している。 一方、ロイター通信によると、国際原子力機関(IAEA)は9日、イラン中部コム近郊のフォルドゥに建設された地下式ウラン濃縮施設が稼働したことを確認した。IAEAの監視下で濃縮度20%のウランが製造されている。 20%ウランの必要性について、イランは「民生用のテヘラン研究炉の核燃料を作るため」としているが、米国などは「核兵器製造を意図したもの」と疑っている。(テヘラン=北川学) イラン「核開発続ける」 IAEAが施設の稼働確認
