作戦にはアメリカ艦船25隻が参加 4月末まで海上だけで1万7000人を動員した 兵士達は大量の食料衣料品ありったけの飲料水をヘリで運び被災者の救助と救援に当たりました (ウィリアムさん)アドレナリンが出てハイでした。 水のボトルを見つけては片っ端から箱に放り込んで岸へ送りました。 3000トンを超える支援物資を被災地に運びました (コディーさん)船全体で持ってる物は全て提供した。 私物から出した生理用品などは残念ながら十分ではなかった。 湧き上がったのは感謝の気持ち 兵士達はわが子から僕だと思って持っててねともらったおもちゃも日本の子供達に しかし400人を超える米兵らが今東京電力などを相手に訴訟を起こしている事実を私達日本人のうちどれほどの人が知っているだろうか 被ばくして白血病になったとネイザンは言います 被ばくしたことで子宮を摘出し子供を産めなくなったとセシリアは訴えています 放射線に誘発された病気になり両足を切断したとスティーブは静かに語ってくれました 本当にレーガンは放射能に巻き込まれたのか 放射能の流れと空母レーガンの航跡はどのように重なったのか 3月23日飛行甲板では大規模な除染作業が行われた 防護服なしで 除染したよせっけんだけで。 壁もモップがけしました手でね。 これは放射能の除染だと説明は受けていた アメリカ海軍も認めている 空母レーガンが福島第一原発事故の放射能で被ばくした事実を 今回私達は健康被害を抱える兵士達に直接話を聞くためサンフランシスコに向かいました 兵士達は皆体調が悪い中全米から駆け付けてくれました リンゼイ・クーパー この若さでなぜ原告団長になったのでしょうか (リンゼイさん)まだ21歳なのに自分はもうすぐ死んでしまうのではないかと感じました。 その思いが私が訴訟に踏み切った大きな理由です。 娘はまだ1歳半で親は私しかいません。 私は医療保険に入るお金さえないし訴訟をしなければ自分の治療費も賄えないし。 海軍からは私の病は遺伝的なものだと告げられた。 私は自分の親や祖父母に電話をかけて聞いたけど全く話が合わなかった。 私の家系にそんな問題を抱えてる家族はいなかった。 リンゼイが提訴したことを知ってね一緒に過ごした仲間だよ佐世保で。 中佐に昇進したいと考えていました。 だからとても躊躇しました。 でも裁判に参加した理由を言います。 水兵達のために助けが欲しいのです。 彼らは苦しんでいます私よりもっとひどい状態です。 … Continue reading
