The workshop will be aimed at giving interested students and members of the university community (with little or no previous knowledge of Indian music) a short introduction to Hindustani music through the violin. Topics of interest may include raga, ornamentation, technique, style, and musical roles. Please bring your own instruments to the master class. Continue reading →
