The 4th annual Hyde Park Jazz Festival features 13 hours of FREE non-stop jazz heard in 13 creative and unexpected, indoor and outdoor venues throughout the Hyde Park neighborhood from 1pm Saturday until 2am Sunday. The Jazz X-tet, directed by Mwata Bowden, will open this festival at 1:00 PM at the James W. Wagner Stage located on the Midway Plaisance between Ellis and Woodlawn Avenues.
