Test Your Color Acuity

X-Rite has developed an online test to evaluate color acuity based on the Farnsworth Munsell 100 Hue Test. Simply drag and drop the color blocks in each row, arranging by hue order, and then click “Score Test” to discover your problem spectrum areas.

New Search Options for Google Images


Google recently announced new advanced search options for images. These options include searching Google Images by size, color, and image type (like photo, line drawing, clip art, and more). You may also search by usage rights. To try out this new feature, click here.

Quality Control Improvements

gretagmacbeth ColorChecker

The VRC has instituted new quality control measures for digitization. We now perform flatbed book scanning with the gretagmacbeth ColorChecker(TM) Color Rendition Chart. The color chart especially improves the color contrast of manuscripts and black and white line drawings.
