Jillana Enteen

I am one of the enthusiastic coordinators of THATCamp Chicago. A Senior Lecturer in Gender Studies at Northwestern University, I teach and write about new media, gender and queer theories, postcolonial and diaspora literatures and theories, and transnational sexualities. My manuscript, Virtual English: Queer Internets and Digital Creolization (Routledge, 2009), examines how disparate, normally overlooked contributors to online communities in English change our understanding of English words concerning gender, sexuality, ethnicity, nation, and home.
