“Strange Reading: Practice, Audience, Theory,” the third annual graduate conference organized by the Department of English Language and Literature at the University of Chicago, will take place on October 10-11, 2008. The Keynote Speaker will be Professor Srinivas Aravamudan (Duke University).

The conference is generously supported by the Center for Gender Studies, the Department of English, the Division of the Humanities, and the Franke Institute for the Humanities.
