The Schedule for the conference is now available. Panels begin at 9am on Friday, October 10. Professor Srinivas Aravamudan (Duke University) will present his keynote address, Stranger’s Justice: Toward An Anti-National Theory of the Novel, on Friday afternoon at 3pm in Rosenwald 405. Panels continue on Saturday, October 11, concluding with a 4pm reception.

The deadline for abstracts for “Strange Reading: Practice, Audience, Theory,” the graduate conference organized by the University of Chicago Department of English Language and Literature, has been extended to April 21, 2008.
