Work by William Conger, MFA’66, is featured in several upcoming exhibitions, including a retrospective of his work on display at the Chicago Cultural Center through March 29. Conger commented on the retrospective in the Jan-Feb 2009 University of Chicago Magazine.
“All in the same room,” Conger, MFA’66, imagines, “they fight with each other. ‘I did that first!’ ‘No, that’s my shape!’ ‘Give me that color back!’ Like a bunch of bratty kids.”
