On October 3, 2007, Françoise Meltzer spoke at the Franke Institute for the Humanities on “putting words to music: a problem of nationalism.” Meltzer is the Mabel Green Meyers Professor of French, Comparative Literature, and the Divinity School in the Department of Romance Languages & Literature. She was introduced by Arnold Davidson, the Robert O. Anderson Distinguished Service Professor in the Department of Philosophy, the Divinity School (Philosophy of Religions and History of Judaism), and the Department of Comparative Literature.
