Back in October, we presented a general overview of our work at the annual University of Chicago Humanities Day. We had a good crowd of prospective students, alumni, and other interested people from the community. The lecture is now available on youtube. We explore computational and quantitative approaches to the history of literary and cultural production, combining network analysis, natural language processing, and other social-scientific tools with traditional humanistic methods. Our projects span the past and present, and range across a number of regions and countries.
