Ian Hartman

Ian Hartman is a second year PhD student in the Screen Cultures program at Northwestern University. His interests include digital games, computing, and the intertwining histories of cybernetics and political life in the late 20th century. He worked on the design and implementation of the alternate reality game The Project at the University of Chicago last spring, and has written on such topics as brain training games, digital labor, facial imaging technologies, and biofeedback.
