John Tolva
Program Manager

John Tolva is the Senior Program Manager for Cultural Strategy and Programs for Corporate Citizenship and Corporate Affairs at the Center for IBM Solution Innovation in Chicago. This position combines a knowledge of culture and the humanities with an understanding of IBM’s newest technologies and related business unit needs, markets and objectives.

John holds a Masters in Information Design and Technology from the Georgia Institute of Technology and a Masters in English Literature from Washington University. Mr. Tolva is on the editorial board of the ACM Journal on Computing and Cultural Heritage. He maintains a personal website at
