As an artist, I work in both digital and traditional media, with particular interest in intermedia, algorithmic composition, and performance. At Northwestern University, where I taught interactive multimedia and virtual reality for artists for many years, I am currently working at the Collaboratory Project, a collaborative online environment for K12 education. I have curated various exhibitions of electronic media. With Debora Wood I was co-curator of “Imaging by Numbers: A Historical View of the Computer Print,” which showed at the Block Museum, Northwestern University, in January-April 2008.
