The exciting and “serendipitous” (Sun-Times) double bill is back! This imaginative event features five European composers along with soprano/composer Agata Zubel and Contempo’s core ensembles. British composer Paul Patterson’s String Quartet makes its American premiere along with Cascando by Zubel. Jason Marsalis’s quartet complements the first half of the program with a spicy jazzy set.
